Evolution vs Intelligent Design
There is some serious trouble happening in Kansas... for the past few years there has been a battle in the school board over whether or not evolution should be taught. And now, they are trying to redefine what science is.

Intelligent design is just another strategy from conservative Christians to ban evolution. Our country is heading backwards. Remember the Scopes Monkey Trial? It's like 1925 all over again!

intelligent design = a hypothesis
evolution = a theory
Evolution is a theory with substantial scientific observation to support it. Enough data to where 98%+ of scientists believe it.
What scientific observations have been made that offer support to intelligent design?

At a point we thought we lived in the center of the universe, then the sun was the center, finally we got passed that. We figured out that the world was round as well, countrary to religious doctrines man made saying it was flat.
No where in the bible does it say we are the center of the universe, nor does it say the world is flat. It also does not say evolution did not happen, who says when God created man, man did not begin as a single cell?
BTW the "Big Bang" smells of appeasing mans religious doctorine, and does not have scientific observation enough to back. But once again no where in the bible will you find the "Big Bang".
Why are free thinking people so afraid of free thought? Free thought means to think freely. Present your free thought and let others contemplate freely. I guess that doesn't fit your agenda. Butt lips.
