who's that lookin' in my window...

It's the Pentagon, and they're spying on you too if you're a student between 16 and 18 or a college student. According to an article on WashingtonPost.com , the Defense Department is creating a database of potential military recruits and "will include personal information including birth dates, Social Security numbers, e-mail addresses, grade-point averages, ethnicity and what subjects the students are studying."

The govt. is trying to get around privacy laws and hiring a private marketing firm to manage the database and
"The system also gives the Pentagon the right, without notifying citizens, to share the data for numerous uses outside the military, including with law enforcement, state tax authorities and Congress."

Ah, the good ol' American government, always looking out for its citizens. Thanks for all your saftey.
